As we continue to strengthen our operations in Mount Edgecombe, KwaZulu-Natal, we’re seeking passionate and professional Intermediate Life Support (ILS) Practitioners to join our dynamic team.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency incidents and calls for assistance.
- Deliver pre-hospital emergency care in accordance with your scope of practice and Medi Response protocols.
- Perform patient assessments, provide stabilisation, and ensure safe and effective patient transport.
- Support inter-facility transfers and other operational activities as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation and medical reports.
- Uphold Medi Response’s values of professionalism, integrity, and compassionate care in all interactions.
Minimum requirements
- Current and valid HPCSA registration as an ILS Practitioner.
- Valid and current CPD compliance.
- Compliance with current CPG updates.
- Valid driver’s licence and PrDP.
- Sound communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
- Professional presentation and a calm, focused attitude in high-pressure environments.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
