Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency incidents and medical calls.
- Provide Basic Life Support interventions in accordance with approved clinical protocols.
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients in pre-hospital and on-site environments.
- Complete accurate patient care records and required documentation.
-Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness.
Minimum requirements
- Current HPCSA registration as a Basic Ambulance Assistant (BAA) Qualification.
- CPD compliant and in good standing with the HPCSA
- Valid driver's licence and PrDP
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as operationally required.
